Web applications have been around since the start of the web. Only recently, however, have business been able to realize their full potential. Web applications allow businesses to communicate and manage themselves from any Internet connection.
What industries does Nubrek serve?
We provide web applications for the merchant services industry, caterers, cooking schools, and non-profit organizations. However, we can customize our products to fit the needs of your firm.
How much do Nubrek’s products cost?
We offer our products at a one time fee. We work with a hosting company to host your license. After you buy our product we give you access to the code and provide training and support for 30 days.
What are the current payment options?
Our preferred payment option is payment by check, however, we can bill a credit card for the sum due.
What do I need to run the applications?
You do not need to install any hardware or software. We require that you run Internet Explorer 5.0 or later and have Internet access. In order to view reports you will need Adobe Acrobat. That's it. SnapEvent™ and eISO require Internet network service with a minimum bandwidth of 128Kbps and the following systems hardware:
- Pentium III 450 Mhz (or higher) with 128 MB RAM or more
- Microsoft Windows 2000 or Windows XP (Home/Pro)
- Windows Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 (or higher)
OR
- Apple Mac G3 or higher with 128 MB RAM or more
- Mac OS X 10.2 or higher
- Safari browser
How can I order one of Nubrek's products?
Good question. First, contact us either by e-mail or phone to let us know you are interested. We will help you through the set-up process step by step. Here is a brief description of how set-up works.

- Discuss any customizations you may want.
- Select a method of payment.
- Allow 48 hours for set-up
- You will receive a website link, password, and administrative privileges
- Then you can enter your firm’s employee and event information
- We provide 30 days (or up to 20 hours) of training both on the phone and in webinars to help you with the setup process
Definitely. The data is stored in strongly protected databases on servers in a data centers in Virginia. Access to data centers is restricted by two-factor authentication including Biometric hand scanners. Rackspace data centers are physically isolated from everyone but level three technicians. Public access is strictly forbidden. All entrances and common areas are monitored 24x7 via closed-circuit cameras.
Can I customize Nubrek’s products?
Yes. You own the code and can hire us to make code changes or you can have your own team make these changes.
What kind of support does Nubrek offer?
We are committed to helping you fully utilize our products.
We’re glad to train you and your organization. However, each of our applications are designed to be as simple as possible. With the purchase of eISO or SnapEvent™, we provide 20 hours of training and suppoort to get you started.
How much does technical support cost?
We'll do everything to get you setup and running. After the first month you will work with Tim Barsness of Barsness Solutions who charges $25/month for hosting. Should you have any development or support needs, he charges $50/hour.
What if my number of users fluctuates?
Each license provides unlimited user access.

What is SnapEvent™?
SnapEvent™ is a web application that helps organizations schedule employees and volunteers. Through its online interface, SnapEvent™ allows administrators and coordinators to post and update events. Employees and volunteers can then submit requests to work specific events and view their updated schedule.
SnapEvent™ literally refers to the online exchange of information that takes place between administrators and employees. Events include any activity where the service of employees or volunteers is needed such as classes or parties.

- Office Tracker allows a choice between online or server based scheduling.
SnapEvent™ also serves as a substitute for temp agencies. Instead of paying fees to temp agencies to schedule employees for your events, you can maintain a high level of part-time workers on SnapEvent™ and notify them of upcoming employment opportunities. SnapEvent™ allows firms to staff events with their regular full-time and part-time experienced employees.

Our prices tend to be lower than the competition because we offer a tailored application specifically for the merchant services industry. We included basic functions such as lead tracking and residual calculation that allow ISOs to manage their business in a very efficient manner.
